Having produced one of only a handful of British protein bars registered with the Vegan Society, and of those the one with the highest protein count, you could forgive health food specialists BodyMe for stopping there. Their exciting new range of protein bars go far beyond this however, both in respect to you and the planet…

When BodyMe set about creating a protein bar they wanted one that people could use to supplement an active lifestyle without having to worry about whether it fitted in with their ethical stance. Their view was

‘what’s the point of exercising hard to feel good about yourself if you don’t then feel good about the food you put in your body afterwards?’

The result is a bar that truly stands out from the crowd. From being vegan and organic to giving 10% of profits to charity and reducing CO2 footprint by manufacturing in the UK, BodyMe have produced a range of protein bars they’re ethically proud of.

The bars’ ethical credentials haven’t come at the sacrifice of nutrition though. 16g of complete protein, a mixture of pea protein, sprouted brown rice protein and hemp seed protein, containing all nine essential amino acids, is combined with raw fruit, nuts, oils and superfoods – ranging from cacao nibs to chia seeds. The result is a raw-processed bar, produced by cold pressing the ingredients, which is gluten and soy free and, perhaps most importantly, tastes great, with three delicious flavours available – chia vanilla, cacao orange and cacao mint.

The only question remaining is ‘Why would you choose any other protein bar?’
